- University Professor and Hospital Practitioner, specialist in vascular surgery.
- Former President of the French National Academy of Surgery, where he played a key role in promoting scientific and technical excellence in surgery
- Editor-in-Chief of Phlébologie – Annales Vasculaires, a leading scientific journal in the field
- Key contributor to medical education and pedagogical innovation, particularly in phlebology training and digital health approaches
