We are thrilled to present at the 19th Kolkhida 2025 International Congress, July 4–6, 2025, and thankful to the Organizers. This was the ideal opportunity to report on the latest megatrends in the global medical aesthetics market, which is undergoing rapid transformation—projected to nearly double from $27.5B in 2024 to $49.5B by 2030, with a CAGR of 10.8% .

The global lifting threads market is acceleratin. Innovations in materials—from PDO to PLLA, PCL, and now P(LA/CL) hybrids—are enhancing durability, elasticity, and patient comfort. Key players like APTOS, Relife, Huadong-Sinclair, Hand Biomed or Dongfang are leading education efforts in 3D techniques, democratizing thread protocols across markets and skill levels.

Rejuvenating threads (smooth) now hold the majority market share and are often used in multi-modal protocols. North America leads by value (45%), while Asia-Pacific dominates in procedural volume, and Europe continues to rise in sophistication. The LATAM and MEA regions show promising growth.

We’re seeing greater uptake among male patients, particularly in jawline and neck rejuvenation, and earlier interventions among patients in their 30s–40s, indicating a strong push toward prejuvenation rather than correction.

Thread lifts—quick, safe, and minimally invasive—are gaining ground as a foundational pillar of modern facial rejuvenation, fusing regenerative science with precision artistry to achieve the “Golden Number” proportion or other facial harmony objectives
